A. Florida CNAs are required to perform nursing-related services for pay within the last 24 consecutive months in order to remain on the registry.

A. It takes 7-10 business days to renew a FL CNA license.
Q. What happens if my CNA license expires in Florida?
A. If you are renewing your license after the expiration date and your status on the board website is Clear/Active or Clear/Inactive, you will have to pay a delinquency fee. This delinquency fee is in addition to your renewal fees.
Q. My Florida CNA certificate has been expired for more than 2 years, how do I get recertified?
A. If you don't renew your certificate by expiration date, two years later, your certificate will become "null and void" and you will have to take the CNA examination again.
Q. What does it cost to renew my FL CNA license?
A. If renewing BEFORE your license expires, your fee is $55.00
If renewing AFTER your license expires, your fee is $105.00
If renewing 120 day Notified Delinquent, your fee is $160.00
