Florida CNA Ceu Requirements
The courses on cnaZone.com are developed by NurseCe4Less.com which is an approved provider of the Florida Board of Nursing - Certified Nursing Assistants provider # 50-9573.
Florida CNA's are required to complete 24 inservice hours every 2 years.
Every 2 years, in-service training hours must include: the following areas:
- HIV/AIDS, Infection Control
- Domestic Violence
- Medical Record Documentation and Legal Aspects Appropriate to Nursing Assistants
- Resident Rights
- Communication with Cognitively Impaired Clients
- CPR Skills
- Medical Error Prevention and Safety
Home Health Aide Renewal Requirements
HHAs employed by home health agencies accepting Medicare and Medicaid must complete 12 hours of in-service training during each 12-month period.
